You can solve the cube. Now solve it faster, not by moving faster, but by knowing more. Seven tools take the last layer from four steps to two.
Almost all the time in a beginner solve is lost on the last layer, so that is where Level 2 lives. The idea: instead of fixing edges then corners then twists then places, you learn a handful of stronger algorithms that fix whole categories at once. First orient, until the top face is all yellow. Then permute, until every piece is in its place. Two looks, and the cube is done.
The two pages below teach the seven tools. They are enough, provably: a computer search has checked all 62,208 last layers a cube can legally produce against exactly this toolkit. None escapes, and the worst case needs just five algorithms.
